Hi. I have an old PIII in the office to play when boss is not around. It has a 5600xt cored at 235/400mhz. Samsung mems can run at 500 mhz, and nv31 is supposed to run at 400mhz in the 5600ultra. Iīd like to scan for artifacts reaching that cores, but since thereīs win98 installed, atitool can not be run.
Do you know any utility for this that runs under win98?

ok, by "cores" I think you mean "overclock", unless thats some new slang I dont know about
and as for artifacts, you might as well oc it that high and play whatever game you want, if it starts to artifact in the game, you're in trouble.
I dont know of any 98 program that will scan for artifacts

thanks for replying.
I found an utiliy that runs under win98 and does not look too old. It shows the earth rounding in the space, not impressive but useful enough.
Now i am wondering why core only holds 325mhz for less than a minute, and then turns back to 250mhz default clock while the 3dearth keeps on rounding in the 3d artifact test. This back to default core clock Is what riva tuner core monitoring shows. I think maybe is a driver lock or something like that. Itīs weird because after edited frequencys with rivatuner, i even edited and flashed the bios with NiBiTor with these overclocked clocks, and does not work too. I canīt make 325mhz to stand still even a minute. I think i am gonna steal the card for a while and test it in an xp system with atitool, it is beginning to be a question of honor to discover what the f.. blocks the core
