X800RX pipelines

I got a Club3D Radeon X800RX. It is X800GT, but Club3D version is called rx. It has R480 core and 8 pipelines. Can anyone tell me, is it possible to open pipelines on this card? I mean, if BIOS flashing does not help, maybe there's some more options? Maybe some kind of modification which makes 8pp gpu to 12pp or 16pp gpu... like pencil mod or cutting smthg. In fact R480 has 16pps on X850XT card and 12pps on X800GTO card. I think it is waste of good GPU if half of the pipelines are disabled. So i decided to ask here, maybe you guys can help me. ;)

I don't know of any mods to specifically address your question, but a word of caution - my past experience in this area would say to stay away from any "hard" mod - you will most likely kill the card...

The manufacturers test the GPUs extensively to determine which portions work and which do not and then "bin" the chips specifically for for this purpose. If they determined only x number of pipes work, they setup and sell the GPU to operate with x number or pipes enabled.
While it may be possible that a small percentage of cards are built with superior GPUs to fulfill shipments - in general, why would they cripple a better chip to sell at a lower price SKU when they can make more of a better card?

That said, I know that it has happened and there are many anecdotal cases of mods and BIOS "fixes" to re-enable features/pipes that the manufactures have disable - But is it worth the risk?

Flashing the bios is the only way to do it that I'm aware of...keep in mind that the pipelines may be defective...

I know that closed pipelines may be defective. Correct me if I'm wrong, but some of the X800 GTOs were 12-pipeline cards, with 4 disabled and these was not unlockable; and there was 12-pipeline cards, where user was able to enable these 4 pipelines with flashing the bios, these cards was named X800 GTO2. Maybe it was Sapphire card. But, ok, i think i should be vmod my card 'till i buy new. Otherwise i will not be able to play NFSMW with maximum graphics.

So, if i'm not able to enable disabled pipelines, it is time to buy a new card. May be something from nVidia.
