I went to the Nvidia site and used their selector. I put in Pro Digital Graphics and the first they listed was the 8800 series but I don't want that. The Next card they recommended was the XFX PV-T73G-U1D4 that is the one in this header. Does anybody have any comments on this card. It is 1/2 the price of the 7950 GT that is hard to find and I don't need except that it is quiet. This card has passive cooling too. As I have said before I do not do much in the way of games. Thanks for any comments. NL

It's a good card, but you haven't told us what it is you want to do with it...

I have been wanting to change my card for a few weeks now. I have looked at everything from an ATI 1650XT to this card. I was going to get the XFX 7950 GT. Not that I need it but because it is QUIET. You just can not find them anywhere right now. Then I saw this card and it is Quiet. I know I still do not need that much power. As I said I used the Selector on XFX's site and put in Graphics. This card came up and I had never looked at the 7600's. I don't do a lot of games. Mostly Video and Graphics and everyday Computing. Cards are not made for that anymore I guess. I have always owned ATI Based cards in the past, but I have doubts about them right now. So at 1/2 the price of the 7950 GT I ordered it today. A friend wants me to build him a computer in the Spring so if I don't like it, maybe he will.

It's a good deal if you want a little power (plenty for photoshop or video editing or whatever you) that has features and is quiet. And who knows, maybe you'll get hooked on a game :)

I got the card. I am glad I did not wait for the 7950GT that everybody is out of. It does everything I have tried to do with no problem. Runs cool It has not gone above 54C and I have been using it all day long it hit 50C once. Threshold is 130C. Saved over $150 and it is like Mike says. QUIET
