Every CPU generation is a different size. The size is measured by it's socket.
Your CPU is a "Slot 1". It is very very old. The highest clock speed achieved on Slot 1 was 1133Mhz. It is possible to buy a Pentium 3 @ 1133Mhz, but u would have to search Ebay to find it, because there are no more retailers selling it.
It would be better to buy a new PC already. If u buy a PC for 300$ it will be over 25 times faster than the PC u have right now.

Athlonz are you trying to keep your older pc for a little while longer? If you are you're outta luck they dont have slot 1 compatability for such an old system like yours. Since you cant port any slot 1 to tech to slot 2 or even socket 1 and vice versa. If ya wanna get an upgrade that would be compatible i suggest the 800mhz pentium II(if it is compatable Fsb wise) Btw what type is it anyway? Pentium 1,2, or MMX?

Slot 2 was for servers. The best he can do is still a Pentium 3, if he dosent want to upgrade everything else.

Who knows he might have a server as a pc.(Alot of people do that with old servers it's still good for day to day use and some light gaming) Also i'm betting he has a P1 since he said slot 1 and 450mhz so thinking with all my cpu knowledge it's the only one i can think of.

Actually, the highest clocked Pentium 2 was 450Mhz. The highest clocked Pentium 1 was 300Mhz.
So he probably has a Pentium 3, and in wich case the best he can do is a Pentium 3 1133Mhz.
The Pentium 3 line ends at 1400Mhz, but theres nothing above 1133Mhz for slot 1.
