High-Definition, when it comes to TVs, means Higher-Resolution. HDTVs are TVs wich can output a select few resolutions wich are higher than what Standard Definition TVs (or SDTVs) cam. SD is only 480i, while HD is 480p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p (1080i/p is a 1920x1080 resolution). "p" is better than "i". For instence 720p is usually better than 1080i.

I bought a x1950pro and it says HDTV in the specs so I was scared it wasnt a card for pc's hahahaha

hehe...all video cards are for computers...the hdtv thing just means you can hook it up to an hdtv if you want to...:)
