The 7600 GT can run F.E.A.R. on high settins at 1024x768 very well.
A 22A PSU is reccomended. Thats 264w on the +12v rail.
Peter, any power supply should be fine with that card. Unless of course you have a poor quality power supply and a heavily loaded system.

I think (not sure) I have a 300W
and it's written 15A on the +12V.
But my system isn't that great:
CPU Type: Intel Pentium 4, 2666 MHz
Motherboard Name: Asus P4S533-MX
Memory: 512 MB (PC2700 DDR SDRAM)
GPU: ASUS FX5700 V9570 TD 256MB and 256Bit
Audio Adapter: Analog Devices AD1980 @ SiS 7012 Audio Device
Disk Drive: 80 GB, 7200 RPM, Ultra-ATA/100
so what do you think?

I dont think the 7600 GT could run on that PSU, but then I dont think the rest of the PC could either.

lol...
Give it a shot, the worst that could happen is the system will be unstable and you'll have to spend another $75 on a PSU.

If my PSU hadnt been crashing 5 times a day, i would have told u that it could damage ur components, but apperently it does not.
However, thats because it was overheating, not because it was too weak.
I reccomend using this PSU calculator:

haha, was I owned? :o
Hi everyone, I'm planning to upgrade my videocard to Geforce 7600GT (Palit 7600GT Sonic), I have a generic 500Watts PSU (LC-B500E) which comes with the casing that I bought some time ago, it is said that its 12V+ rail only offers 18amps, does this mean I cannot run 7600GT? I tried calculating thru the psu calculator and I found out that my system would only utilize something like 340+ Watts, but what I'm worried about is the 18amps on the 12V+ rail... :(
Does the 7600GT have a 6pin power socket for extended power...?
Can 7600GT handle 1440x900 LCD resolution?
The reason why I ask, is because good PSU are really rare and expensive here in my place...
Thanks much...
