Just more specualtion and propaganda benchmarks from ATI. Thats OK, nVidia's still the master of propganda and i admire ATI for sticking up for themselves.

X2800XTX should be 630$ in 20 days according to the article, wich means a price drop for the 8800 GTX, being that the X2800XTX is at least 10% more powerfull.

512-bit memory is all that the card seems to have an advantage in, but the clocks must be higher aswell.

512-bit memory is all that the card seems to have an advantage in, but the clocks must be higher as well.Along with the full 1GB GDDR4 (on the high-end cards) at 1.1GHz.

Thats only for the second X2800XTX model, released in March. The one that will be released in 20 days will have GDDR3.

These benchmarks look pretty fake to me...the 8800gtx numbers don't make any sense...and some of the specs he quotes don't make sense either...

Either this guy is a total noob who just got lucky and found an R600...and doesn't know how to benchmark it properly...or it's a fake...

It's not just fake, it's propaganda.
