As of this morning, you can now get accurate pricing information right inline with all our usual retail card information on card pages. I know what you're thinking "oh god more ads", but no! This will be different! Instead of pricegrabber pricing engines or banner ads or other forms of advertising that I consider less-than-helpful, I've simply gone out to Newegg.com and cross-referenced their inventory with my database of retail video cards. The overall result of this is nice, clean integration of pricing information with the GPUReview.com database. No big banner ads, no pricing for whatever the major e-tailers are pushing this week (am I the only one sick of ads for the 6800 XT?). All you'll see is the price of the cards you are looking at and nothing more. And if you click the link, it takes you straight to the page on Newegg's site to buy the card.
I hope you can all see the lengths I'm going to to ensure that GPUReview stays as helpful as possible and doesn't 'sell out'. If all goes well with Newegg, I'll be adding more retailers soon along with other features to help you all find the best video card prices on the web.
Please take a look at the new pricing info on any of our card pages and send me some feedback over on the Contact Page (http://www.gpureview.com/forums/../contact.php).

I get 1-2% of any sale that comes from someone clicking on one of those links. And yeah, it took forever. It's not like most sites that just have something query a server for an ad, I actually went through ALL the ads (aka every video card in their inventory, 609 cards) to find the matching card in my database.

For many of the cards, I had the wrong model number, so it got kinda crazy trying to get everything straightened out. But the database is a lot more accurate now, so it wasn't a complete waste.

lol...well the way I see it, a lot of people come to this site to figure out what video card to buy...so it just makes sense to give them pricing information along with specifications...

I should make some positive ones..

BTW, if u did not understand earlier, this is a great feature and it makes the site even better than it was before - if thats possible.

Totally!

Connecting to Newegg is possibly the best idea for the site. Newegg being the best etailer around, the site has become more productive in terms of helping ppl shop aswell.

Again, Excellent Work!

Minor inconsistency, Mike:

Sapphire's x1900gt is now Revision 2, so the clocks are 512/657 (1314 DDR), the same as the Powercolor version. It would also appear a steal for ~$160 after shipping.

Also, since all future versions of the x1900gt, with the release of the x1950pro, are going to be Revision 2, should the default numbers on the page represent this? It might look a little weird for half the listed retail cards to have the bold red text, but it would also be accurate.

From what all I read, they ran out of cores they wanted to use for it, so they used the 512 cores and just revved up the RAM. It's obviously a little weaker, but you can't go wrong with a $150 video card that doesn't get obliterated (like pretty much any card lower than 800 will [be it the 7800 or x1800]) by high-end games.
