hey,
this is my first post:).im upgrading my dell dim 4700 to either a 7900gto or 7950gt. wich is a better choice?? i think the 7900gto is faster but yer just to make sure. i like the 7950gt because it is bundled with the new ghost recon but i shouldnt get it just because of that. i can't really find much info about the 7900gto exept that they arn't making alot and they'll stop making them, this will be a problem if i eventually want to go SLI.at the moment my dell has a 305 watt psu and i've been told that it is only an average. will that be sufficient power for either of these cards or will i need a new PSU???
thanks in advance,

If u can find a 7900 GTO, god bless u.
If u cannot, settle with a 7950 GT and overclock it.

I bought the 7900 GTO...

I have a dell Optiplex 745 and it did not fit with the Stock cooler on it.... make sure you do the measurments and confirm the space.. I had to put a ZALMAN 900 on mine to get it to clear the CPU housing.. I know the dell 4700's are small... the GTO will take up the PCI slot next to it and the the GT will not....

:-)

SOOOO do your measuring before you get the GTO.....

I would get the GTO over the 7950 gt. Just a little more horse power in the GTO.

I got mine off ebay for $300.00... had it in 3 days.
