hi i have a question about this AMD and this INTEL cpu

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ 2.6 ghz 1Mb L2 cache
INTEL Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4ghz bus speed 1066 mhz and 4Mb L2 cache

with one is the fastest for games and stuff like that

The Intel Core 2 Duo CPU's are MUCH faster and cost MUCH less.

E6300 - 150$
E6400 - 225$
E6600 - 300$

each of those can OC to 3.0Ghz and become the most powerfull CPU on earth, easily beating the FX-62 (AMD's fastest CPU) and costing 1/3 to 1/5 of the price.

The old Intel CPUs were slow. The new "Core 2 Duos" are the most stable and fastest CPUs ever created.

god damnit track how often are you oh these forums:lol:

yeah, Core 2 Duo (C2D) owns all of the Atholon X2 lineup. your friends talking about Intel CPUS crashing in games, and not giving good frames per second, are talking about the Pentium 4, which was, well, not a good processer, to say the least.

Pentium 4s ARE good CPUs. They may not rival ATI's CPUs at the time of their release per every clock cycle, cause they were more powerfull and had a lower clock speed.
Currently there is no need for anything abover a Pentium 4, and even though that will soon change, Pentium 4s are resilient and strong.
