I am building a new high end Media Center using Microsofts Media Center OS.... done so in the past with great results... but this time the customer want to use the System to drive 2 HDMI interfaced 52" Plasmas.... with a seperate touchscreen monitor as the controlling interface..... the topic of question is what video adapter would you suggest that would not only give great HDMI output via an HDMI cable but also provide the 2nd vga output for the controlling touchscreen? I was looking at the "GECUBE X1600PRO 256MB DDR2 Hypermemory 512MB, HDMI / HDCP, Slim Edition". Has anyone had experience with this card?.... or is there a better one that I should be using?
Your experienced help or advice would be greatly appreciated! :)

If you need to drive a total of 3 displays, you're going to need 2 cards. What form factor is this media center going to be? How much room do you have?
I think that x1600 pro can only drive one hdmi port.

The Media Center is Dual Core Xenon with 4gigs of RAM and 2.2 Terabyes of RAID storage, a very high end system indeed.... the content of media will be mostly DVD Movies played via either the DVD drive or from the DVD movies that have been imaged or should I correctly say archived on to the RAID's.......
I think you may be right as to the single HDMI output from the 1600 which I would run through a high-end splitter to the two plasma's..... is there any card that has both VGA & HDMI as it's output or should I say dual monitor mode like say some of the other cards that allow VGA and DVI output?

So you're going to be splitting the hdmi output to make 2 separate tvs display the same image???
If so, then just about any card with an hdmi connector should suit you fine.
