Hey everybody...need some advice.

I have a P4 2.8 machine that I built with AGP 4x/8x. Am running a Radeon 9800 Pro and want to upgrade something temp. until I build a new system with DX10, etc.

I am wanting to run Doom 3, Quake 4, HalfLife 2 and Prey with obviously as good a balancing of frame rate and graphic extras as I can for under $200 (would love to be at $150). I don't mind if it is a value type card that you can flash up to be more functional.

Would a 7600 GT card be my best bet? Which one? Any other good options?

Thanks for any advice!

A 7600 GT AGP, or a used 6800 GT would be perfect for those games.

The 7600 GT for 150$ is a good choice.

But u can also get the X1800XT (256MB), 7900 GS and X1900GT for around 200$ and its well worth it. Remmember, buy higeher sell higher.
