I just got back from the local GameStop and in my hand I have the pre-order
receipt for a 60GB PLAYSTATION 3 console and a copy of Resistance Fall of Man.
There were 8 PS3s (all the 60GB model) available for pre-order at that GameStop
and when the store opened at 10AM there were 7 people waiting to get in. I
was the first one in line because I was there at 7AM. The next person didn't
even show up until 8:40. I would have arrived later but I was not sure when the
store was going to open. I no longer have to worry about camping out in front of
Best Buy on release day!
This particular PS3 will remain unopened and will be hocked on Ebay for hopefully
$900.00-$1,200.00. Then I will purchase a 20GB PS3 for myself at my leisure in
late November or early December with the profit I made selling the first one on
Ebay. The game will remain in my custody of course.
