I would like to know why my Gigabyte GTS450 Model DDR3 1GB is using a GF116 chispet while normaly it's for the 500 series.
I searched everywhere and I found absolutly nothing about my video card currently , even nvflash and NiBiTor can't find out what is that video card.
Thanks for the help ^^

From what I read via Google, nVidia stopped producing the GF106 that the GTS 450 was originally based on and silently switched it to the GF116 chip with very similar specs (shaders, clocks, ROPs, etc.) besides the voltage. People say it runs a bit cooler (5-6 C while being the top card in SLI), but it's a lot less supported in 3rd party apps.
Try reading through this thread to see if helps you make sense of it: http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.aspx?m=1169941&mpage=1
