hellow gamers.. im new to gaming, and im a NEWBIE
i want to play big games, planning to buy for an upgrade..

is the "geforce 9500 GT 1gb" alright for me??, its cheap(buyable for me)..

but, im planning on buying advance grap cards(like the gtx 460 1gb),
there are games that i searched, some of its specs requirements said that they only support these chipsets: the ATI blah blah blah(dont know a thing, sorry!) and the geforce 6,7,8,9 series, --if i buy and use the gtx 460, will i be able to play those games that i searched(i just said im a newbie)???

-please reply, PM me.... advance thanks!!!
i would highly appreciate those replies..

You will be able to use the Gtx 460 on games that may not specify it.

The reason that the game is probably not mentioning the 200 series or the 400 series is probaby due to the fact that it is an older game and the 400 series is very new.

The 9500 GT is a pretty lackluster card for gaming but the Gtx 460 1 Gb is one of the best bang/buck cards right now on the market. However both of these cards have a great price difference with the 9500 GT being around 40$ - 80$ (in my area) and the Gtx 460 going for 250$ - 300$ (once again in my area).

It really depends on your resolution, the games being played, and the settings you wish to be able to use (max settings etc...). Also you have to take into account if you want Direct X 10 or Direct X 11 (the 9500 is DX 10 and the 460 is DX 11)

Also, make sure your Motherboard can take a Pci-express 16x card and that your power supply can take the wattage that the cards may demand.
