Hi all,
I'ev read tht there are some GTX 465s out there that can be reflashed to a GTX 470. I've erad that the reason this can be done is because a few GTX 470s were actually reflashed to perform like a GTX 465. The GPU board is supposed to actually be a GTX 470, and reflashing it unlocks all the stuff that makes a 470 different from a 4675, spec-wise. Anyone know which brands are affected, and how to tell them from the dedicated 465 boards?
thanks,
darryl

Uh... the first ones are supposedly reflashable, while the newer ones aren't.
Don't really know how to differentiate between the two, though.

you need to look at the number of memory chips on the board.
470s have 10
465s have 8

so if you have a '465' with 10 chips, it should be flashable.
