NVIDIA 7950 GT should I buy same one for SLI?

Hi,

I have Nvidia 7950GT video card. I want to buy another card to use in SLI, I have one more PCI-Express slot available. The price of a new 7950GT right now is about $115. I also looked at geForce 9800GTX which costs $120. Should I rather buy 9800 or 7950? Or should I buy something even more different?

edit: Even if you assume 100% scalability (hahahahahahahaha!), 2(7950GT) = .8(9800GTX).
