hello ppl
i want to buy a laptop
1rstly cuz i need for university
and 2ndly cuz i wanna play again online games

i saw a thread considering ati and geforce 150m
i am still no sure if 150m will be able to handle lineage2 playing well
i was thinking to use linux so i was on the route to geforce(cuz ati no fully suported by linux)
so i wanna ask ur opinions cuz i dont know much things

Acer :
Intel Core 2 Duo P7350 2.13 GHz, RAM: 4 GB, HD: 500 GB, 15.6 in, Resolution: 1366x768, gpu: GeForce G 105M, DVD-RW, Windows Vista Home Premium

Toshiba:
AMD Athlon II Dual-Core M300 2.0 GHz, RAM: 4 GB, HD: 320 GB, 15.6 in, Resolution: 1366x768, gpu: Mobility Radeon HD 4570, DVD-RW, Windows 7 Home Premium

price difference is around 110e (toshiba cheaper)

the 4570 is significantly more powerful than the 105 chipset

Is that a G 105 or a 150?

I don't have time to look up comparisons right now, but if I remember correctly the GTS150m is similar in performance (slightly less powerful actually) to the desktop 9600gso.

I might be wrong, that's a pretty vague recollection, but if I'm right then I'd recommend the GTS150 over the mobility 4570.

If it's just a G105 you're talking about then the 4570 beats it.

plus the toshiba has windows 7

which i would take over vista any day

well you typed it in correctly the first time as 105



so. the 4570 would be a much better option

So that means the Toshiba and the Toshiba was cheaper.
