I just bought this card today, along with a HDMI cable for my video game/movie pleasures on my PC monitor (which supports HDMI). Now it claims to be "HDMI ready" on the box, but when I plug in my HDMI cable from my tower to my monitor the monitor shows no signal?
So my question is: Is there some kind of setting I need to change in the card settings to maybe enable HDMI?

First of all the video card needs to be installed into your motherboard in order to work correctly.
You can't just set the card inside your 'tower' and hook it up to your TV.
Joke time is over now. Did you enjoy that? I did.
Right click on your destop and bring up the Nvidia control panel. Choose 'Set up multiple displays'.
If you want to use only the TV as your display, select the radio button next to your TV and
deselect the radio button next to your PC monitor.
If you want to use both at the same time you will have to select both and then tell the control
panel what kind of dual monitor situation you want (streach the desktop across both screens
for example).

You don't even need to use the nVidia control panel for that if you're using multiple monitors . Don't know/remember how it works under win XP and Vista , but using windows 7 you can just right click on the desktop , click on screen resolution and then click on detect monitor or something along those lines .
I'd imagine it works more or less the same way under windows XP .
