Hello everyone. I have an on-board ATI HD3500 Right now that is disabled and supports Hybrid Cross fire. I have a 7900GTX installed as that is an nvidia card. I am mostly happy with it but I am always looking for better. I have the chance to buy a Radeon HD 4350 512MB card. Will I lose performance with this card or not? If I am gaining performance will it be noticeable? Thank You for any response.

...unless you're running at a low resolution without any AA or AF. It's not worth the cost to change cards, no matter what, though; if it were free, it might be worth it.

you'll find your 7900gtx

then keep scrolling down and down for the 4350

toms hardware is biased towards nvidia.
but you ill still lose significant preformance. an hd 4670 would be about he minimum id upgrade too.

Well the question is do you intend to gaming with the more modern titles? If not and just web-browsing, email or video play-back like from the internet you sure don’t need a 7900GTX. Just the power efficiency is worth move away from that old hardware, the idle consumption is much more than the 4350 at full stress. Sure interns of sheer 3D performance something like a 4350 isn’t comparable, but if no gaming a lowly 4350 will do as or better a 7900GTX especially when watching video off the internet.

While then for modern gaming you should discount other the particulars like new Dx support, OpenCL, and Pixel Shader Version 4.1.

I’m not one to just say upgrade for nothing but at this point that card is easily bludgeoned by many newer card like 4670, while I’d at least consider a 5670 if gaming, if not wait for the 5570 prices to come inline for like $50-70

The HD 4350 is FAR slower than the 7900 GTX .
If you're going to upgrade , don't look at anything below a HD 4850 .
Also , if you're intent on upgrading , first post the rest of your machine specifications , 'cause there might be a bottleneck or two there ...
