i know that 9600gt does not supports 3 way sli coz it does not have that extra bus or two gold finger on top,
however can i install three 9600gt's on a mother board with 3 x16 PCI express slots and disable SLI option, and get six multi monitors with six different apps on each screen
i am not attaching either the 2 way SLI connector, nor am i enabling SLI in windows vista.
and do i need windows vista for multi monitor or windows xp will do,
any answers will be greatly appreciated, :)

i was also wondering that SLI means one application on all the monitors at the same time...is'nt thats what SLI is supposed to achieve, all the GPU power for one application, be it gaming or any other app
SLI will work for multiple monitors now, but for gaming you'll still be stuck with a single monitor unless the game itself has multiple monitor support (flightSimX).

It'd be FAR EASIER to just get a HD5K series card that supports Eyefinity ...
