9800GT or GT240?

I wanted to buy Gainward 9800GT 1GB DDR3 Green edition, but now Gainward GT240 1GB DDR5 came out and it looks very interesting. In my country price of both cards is almost the same, but I don't know which is better. I want to hear another opinion. Sorry for my english.

The 9800gt will perform better. Don't bother with the 1gb version of the card, it can't use that extra RAM anyway. Go for the 512mb version if it's cheaper.

That would depend on the pricing of the cards and whether they're factory overclocked.

The "green edition" cards are actually underclocked versions which use less power. An overclocked 9600gt could potentially outperform the green 9800gt without too much trouble.
