Hey guys i wanna get a fan for my leadtek 7600GT but im useless when it comes to cooling so i would really appreciate some advice...

Who told you to buy a crappy leadtek 7600gt? :eek: also why do you want to buy a fan for the 7600 GT? isnt there already one there? If you remove the previous stock fan off the card you can forget the warranty they gave you. I say keep the heatsink/fan on that card. I have a 6600 agp and I kept my fan/ heatsink. I only added the Arctic Silver 5 on the GPU DIODE. My Gpu temp is about 61c. :cool:

About that card, It sux sorry to say that. best companies I can think of now are: Asus (best of the best), BFG (lifetime warranty), EVGA, PNY, MSI

Probably a Zalman, I'm not sure what fits what today, but Zalman would be a good place to start...

And there's absolutely nothing wrong with LeadTek cards, or 7600GTs, Omar, you don't know what the hell you're talking about.

I agree, LeadTek makes pretty stable cards from what I've seen.

Either a Zalman (VF900-Cu..comes with a fan controller) or an Artic Silencer (NV Silencer 5 Rev. 3 I believe, don't hold me to that).

i`d prefer the VF900-cu.
it has an advantage that comparing to a Silencer it doesnt transfer through all the massive cooler the heat throughout the card.

The Silencer blows the hot air out of case, where it belongs. They work VERY well.

i didn`t say the opposite my friend.both coolers have pros-cons.

Sorry it tok me so long to reply guysbut thanks to everyone who replied. Anyway i found out that i have the exclusive design of the 7600GT. Apparently the fan is better than the stock ones most of the other brands are using.
