Quadro/FireGL series are professional cards , they aren't meant for gaming , while the Radeon/GeForce series are gaming cards .

An useless amount for gaming . Even 512MB is barely being fully utilized these days .
However , this isn't a gaming card .

You'd get higher framerates with a cheaper HD 2900 XT in games , thats why they are gaming cards and this one isn't .

^ yeah, but a lot of designers have to test their games, so a designer card being game capable is good, that way they don't need a whole nother rig just to test games on.

The difference between the FireGL and the Radeon series is that FireGL is geared completely on the Vertex, while the Radeon concentrates more Shader
