CES 2009's (Nvidia) video card news.

Asus GTX 285 and GTX 295.

Over at Asus' booth I spied their ENGTX295 and their ENGTX285 Ultimate on display. So check 'em out!

Asus ENGTX295

The GTX 295's power ports.

The GTX 295's display ports. I see HDMI!

Asus ENGTX285 Ultimate

I have pictures of the GTX 285's power and display ports, but I should just say that they are nothing out of the ordinary. It's got dual dual link DVI, no HDMI port and the power ports are side by side.

Those 3D glasses are interesting , I'd like to get my little greasy hands on them some day... and a proper PC to go with it .

Your photography skills are unmatched, sir!

It's a shame that the material is all LED'd up. >.

For the nVidia 3D Vision thing, I've seen that before. Now I'm talking WAY old-school here, it worked with every 3D game and used an OpenGL or Glide (yeah, 3DFX Glide) wrapper for the driver to shift the image. To put thin in perspective, it was at a computer show in Tampa, FL in 1998 (Unreal Tournament was a brand new game at the time). And yes, they worked amazingly well. If I still had them I'd show some pics but unfortunately they were broken some years ago. Never thought I'd see that technology resurrected. Pretty freaking cool though.
