The radeon hd 2600xt has the same core as radeon hd 2600pro. The same chip with lower clock. That make sense why the radeon hd 2600xt ddr3 version is the same size as radeon hd 2600pro board. So, my guess is that if the radeon hd 2600pro ddr3 version can be overclocked to the same core speed as radeon hd 2600xt, they would perform the same? hmm....

I haven't seen any HD 2600 Pro's out in GDDR3 so far ,but yeah... if you match the clock speeds on the HD 2600 Pro GDDR3 of the HD 2600 XT GDDR3 version , iy'll basically be the same card .
