I waded through the reviews today looking for some juicy overclocking data and I have emerged from the glistening pool with a shimmering jewel that is this chart. BEHOLD!
I did not have the time to run overclocking tests for our GTX 480 review, but perhaps I could run some numbers before they become available for purchase. What do you guys think? I could find out what kind of performance bump overclocking will give in DirectX 11 games with 3D Vision turned on or off.

Seeing as how the GTX 480 is not available yet in stores, I have decided to drop some GTX 480 overclocking information on you from my solar dome on a platform in space. Using some brand new WHQL drivers I have gathered data from three DirectX 11 programs and one DirectX 10 game.

They are also in our system! These special HD 5870s are designed to allow you connect 6 monitors for some pretty cool Eyefinity shenanigans. The differences between these and normal HD 5870s are three fold. There are 6 mini-Display Port, um ports on each card, they have 2GB of GDDR5, and they require one 6 pin and one 8 pin power connector, instead of two 6 pins.
Here are the obligatory links:
• Diamond HD 5870 Eyefinity 6
• PowerColor HD 5870 Eyefinity 6
• Sapphire HD 5870 Eyefinity 6
• MSI HD 5870 Eyefinity 6

I have some prizes and we are going to have a contest so that I can give away said prizes. But before we can have this Twitter based contest, we need more Twitter followers! Therefore we need you, loyal readers, to follow us on Twitter (@gpureview) and to ask your friends (nicely) to follow us on Twitter. Once we reach 40 (legitimate) followers, the contest will begin!
Once the contest begins I will be looking for people that re-tweet messages from GPUReview. On each Friday night I will gather up all the re-tweets and I will assign a number to each re-tweet. I will then use a online random number generator to pick a number, and that week's prize will go to the user that made the selected re-tweet. So re-tweeting more than one of GPUReview's posts per week will increase your chances of winning, but I will not count multiple re-tweets of the same GPUReview tweet from the same user name.
The contest will last 5 weeks, so there will be 5 drawings and and 5 winners (I am not going to let the same person win twice). To keep this contest simple, I will only ship the prizes to people who live in the continental United States. If you win and you don't live in the US you can give me the address of a friend who does live in the US and they can send you your prize.
Remember the fun cannot begin until we get 40 followers on Twitter, so spread the word (is'nt Grease the word?)!
UPDATE! We currently have 39 followers.
I have decided not to remove any Twitter accounts from the contest, since I suppose it is possible for a GPUReview reader to use a Twitter account only for contests. It looks like 4/30 might be the day I make the first random drawing. Remember to re-tweet as many GPUReview tweets as possible (one re-tweet for each GPUReview tweet please) once we get to 40 followers.

You can now begin your re-tweeting of everything new that GPUReview tweets from now until the end of the contest! You can join the contest at any time by following GPUReview on Twitter and re-tweeting tweets written by GPUReview. Please read this post for more details on how the contest will work.
Now that the contest has begun, I will finally reveal what the prizes are! Each winner will receive the Best Buy Exclusive X-Men Origins: Wolverine Special Edition Blu-ray. Now you may be asking yourself why this Blu-ray is worthy of being a prize. Allow me to list the contents of this item:
• Blu-ray of X-Men Origins: Wolverine
• Digital Copy of the X-Men Origins: Wolverine (Put it on your PC/laptop and your iPod/iPhone!)
• Bust of Wolverine from Sideshow Collectibles (TwitVid Video of bust)
• $50 Gift Card to Sideshow Collectibles' Website
For those of you that don't have a device that can play a Blu-ray disc, you can still put the movie on your computer and your portable Apple device.
Now the $50 gift card requires some extra explanation. The gift card expires on 12/31/2010, so make sure to use it sometime this year. The gift card can only be used on items that Sideshow has deemed to be 'Gift Card Eligible'. Items on their website are regularly added and removed from the 'Gift Card Eligible' list, so if you see something on the list that you want, jump on it! To see all the items on the 'Gift Card Eligible' list go to this page and peruse the collection of thumbnails on the right hand side of the page. If you hover over a thumbnail you should see some text describing the item. You can also right click on these thumbnails and open them in a new browser tab to view the page for the item. Sideshow does ship items to Canada and other International locations.
But wait there's more! Each winner will also win $5 (or less) in Steam's store. Each winner can choose a $5 game from this list of 149 titles. Please make sure the game you choose is not a add-on or expansion that requires a game that you do not already own. I will ask each winner to send me their Steam user name, and I will send them the game through Steam's gift system.
OMG there is still more! I have some convention swag for each winner to sweeten the deal. The first winner will receive an Evga branded hat and a Nvidia bumper sticker. The second winner will receive a t-shirt with Nvidia's Crank That S#!T Up slogan on it. Winner the third will receive a no camping t-shirt. Winner four and five will receive one Nvidia inflatable tube thing that Nvidia handed out during PAX East.
Well that's it! Here is a video that shows all the non-digital prizes that each winner will obtain.

I have counted 112 re-tweets so far, but this Friday is along way away. Hopefully this graph will encourage you folks to challenge the top re-tweeters. It is not too late to start now! You can go back and re-tweet all the tweets GPUReview made since the contest began. If you don't want to piss off all the people who follow your account, you can do all your re-tweeting late at night or early in the morning. Remember, since the winning re-tweet will be chosen at random, every single tweet counts and the more re-tweets you rack up the more likely it is that one of your re-tweets will be chosen.

The cut off time for re-tweeting for this contest week is 9AM Eastern on April 30th. I will ensure the document I am using to keep track of re-tweets is updated and then I will use this random number generator to select a random re-tweet. I will then contact the winner by tweeting at them and if they have an account on GPUReview, I will also email them. If for some reason the winner does not reply to me right away, I will wait until Monday to select a new winner from the same set of re-tweets as the first winner.
I will ask the winner to send the following information to firstname.lastname@example.org; their US mailing address, Steam user ID, what game they would like from this page, and I will request their phone number and a time when I can call them. I would like to get an opportunity to congratulate them and to ask them what they think about the site. So if you win, make sure you are ready to go into detail about all the ways in which this site is horrible.
Two more things. Thing one, we are currently sitting at 159 total re-tweets. Thing two, the tweet I send to the winner will be the first tweet eligible for re-tweeting for week number two. Everyone will start with a clean slate at that time.
