Not that I know much about the graphic card vendors but i would recommend the gecube version over any powercolor version. There is just something odd about that vendor and they seem to be really cheap. 180 quid is a bit pricey but its not too bad.

@ Nick: The powercolor card is overclock, meaning that they take much more money for something that u can do easily at home in under 5 mins.

I hate when a company launches a product silently and with no availablity. I can understand though why they would do that for a card such as the 7100, but this is a card that everyone actually wants.

'Best Buy' has it on Backorder for $299.
So much for it being under $200. =(

Never trust those big retailers they buy it for half the msrp and jack it up! Believe me Iused to work at bestbuy you wont believe what I had to say in order to get people to buy fx5200's.
I remember my manager getting an invoice for 10 x1900xt's they cost each 278$ at launch and they sold them for 500$ each! Damn you bestbuy!

I Personally bought the gecube x1950 256MB (209 Euros)and tested it in Half-Life 2 Lost Coast. At 1280*1024 with ALL advanced futures enabled (except V-Sync) and it scored 70 FPS. My cpu is pentium D945 with 2*512/400 MB of Ram. I am VERY SATISFIED!!!

Got the 512 version from Newegg. Keeps crashing the PC (XP SP2, current ATI drivers, DirectX 9.0C, MB = D875PBZ). It was supposed to replace my X9800 XT 256 which was working fine, except for limitations on new games...

I could only get visontek's xge version, and not being the best vendor I prefer to have, I'm blown away with the performance/buck (paid 249.99) and i dont have to upgrade my whole system yet :) (which is what I want to do, till vista=less bugs. I'm interested in what amd/ati is coming out with in future as well)
Right now im very happy with them, ty guys for allowing me to still use my old school AGP haha

my X1600 Pro(agp) runs on a 300W PSU...
minimum was 420W and recommended was 450W

This is a really good card! I got the HIS IceQ3 AGP version (512 GDDR3) for about $300 I think ($ AUS), and I had upgraded to this from a Inno3D FX 5500! Didn't Oblivion look good! With Oblivion I found that having a faster processor can also give a performance edge.

Fantastic card for AGP. The only problem I had with it is that it was only compatible with a small number of motherboard chipsets. It would not run on half of my Pentium 4 era motherboards.

I purchased one of these cards for almost nothing on account of the fact that the owner couldn't test it. I honestly thought I was buying a dead card with a good heat sink! Boy was I surprised when it worked perfectly.
