The Radeon LE was never officially launched by ATi. The card was manufactured by a company called Althon Micro using Radeon chips that wouldn't pass specification. ATi allowed the chips to be used in cards for sale in OEM markets as long as HyperZ was disabled in the bios. This crippling put the card between the Radeon SDR and DDR in terms of performance, but users later found how to flash the bios and re-enable HyperZ.

I've had this card since its inception for the price of $80. While it does not feature a TV-out port, it is still a viable card. Like Mike has mentioned, I also flashed its BIOS to enable hyper-Z, however the clock rate now is 183 core/183 memory default, which is the analogous to a Radeon 64MB DDR card.
