Wow! Is it really going to be comparable to the 9600GT on texture and pixel fill rates, but with almost twice the memory bandwidth, and almost 4 times the FLOPS? Sure glad it's going to be PCI-E 2.0!

Nvidia's midrange's texture and fillrates pared with that kind of bandwidth and FLOPS hopefully AMD's unbalanced design's are effective with future games unlike now.

This card is most likely going to be faster than the 9800 GTX , because
the 9800 GTX basically is a 8800 GTS . Well , it might be slower with
initial drivers... but after a driver update .

It looks like the GDDR5 version of this card should be able to beat the 9800 GTX. Sounds like a real winner to me. http://www.nordichardware.com/news,7854.html

AMD/ATI can't control the number of 4850's sold in retail that they decided to launch this baby today.

Somebody, please edit the release date. ^^

I thought the GDDR5 version was cancelled to prevent internal competition with HD4870? Plus, reviews are stating that this card does not have a separate shader clock and instead has 800SPs.
