This card was a failure.

It was very commonly WEAKER than the cheaper GTX 460. This card also draws more power, runs slightly hotter and is not as overclockable as the GTX 460.

This card actually surprised me quite a lot.

I got it from 607/1215 to 830/1660. Any higher and major artifacting would occur. At current clocks on mine (830/1660) I can run a lot of games quite nicely. BF3 at mixed ultra/high settings online.

I however run dual-monitors so the heat output was true-to first-gen Fermi form. I reached its thermal limit of 105 Celsius many times. To counter that, I took the blower and heat shroud off and using two wood screws, screwed a 120mm fan directly into the heatsink itself.
