I found one of these in a discarded ATX computer case in the trash. I was very surprised with its performance, which was roughly on par with an Nvidia 6600.

The only problem with this card was that it overheated. However, I completely eliminated the overheating by simply attaching the CPU fan from a Pentium II to the heat-sink on the card.

From that point forward I could play Doom 3 on medium resolution at medium quality with no lag. Without the modification I made the game would crash and freeze.
