Dang that kinda sucks. Its good that they have the ability to connect 4 of them but if it doesn't really work out on most applications that kinda defeats the purpose of having 4 cards.

I am not very surprised. I think in a few months with better crossfire X capable drivers that the game performance will be better.

you say "worse" in red like its a suprise. Give it a while man drivers are half the card.

Yes I was surprised. Yes drivers may help fix the problem.

Not really surprised, but I wouldn't've guessed worse. Surely terrible results at this early stage, but worse? Hmm.

Well, aren't there supposed to be epic scaling issues with 2 GPUs anyway?

I wouldn't say "epic", but there are scaling issues with 2 or more GPUs on some games.

Well some people think that 2 don't really scale all that well to begin with. So I would imagine that having 4 would probably be somewhat more difficult to try and implement with applications. Although if anything I wouldn't have thought that it would have decreased in performance.

2 scale very well on certain games. For instance I got 25 FPS higher AVG framerate in FEAR over my friend who had just 1 7900GT where I had 2.

I think 2 cards can scale pretty good aswell. I just know a few people that don't think the same way or they think its not worth it. They would rather just have 1 really powerful card. But hey why have 1 when you can have 2 Ha ha ha! :P

Well usually 2 scale better than one very powerful card at high resolutions with AA. Other situations are not always as good.

SLi/CF scale at about 50-70% ... never 100% .
So quad SLi/CFx scale ... worse .
