(The following statement is sarcastic in nature, it is not factual at all.) This card is the best. I can run pong on maximum settings. I can deal with the minor lag when playing F.E.A.R. I can also get about 2 points with 3DMARK03 with this card. Very good card and price tag.

After 2 years, the card finally died on me. It was in the middle of a game of Halo 2 Vista too... I was getting more than 600 SPF on it too. Seriously. This card sucks. Really.

WOW!!! This card can beat X1950XTX when the core clock is over-clocked to 32GHz and the memory clock over clocked to 8GHz

There is nothing wrong with this card, its just old, leave it... or maybe you are just angry at it becouse it was released before all of you were born?

I had this card intergraded in my old PC.I played C.B. Undying on medium details and I didn't have lags. ATi Rage RULES!!!

Bearing in mind that this card was released in 1994/95 (the details aren't clear before 1996) this card was pretty decent at the time. The real issue with it was a complete lack of 3D accelerated games or knowledge of how to implement them.

Just as a throwback here is the earliest press release still available from ATi. Enjoy:

....and CAD users who demand blazing performance at up to 1600x1200 resolution.

3D RAGE II delivers the critical features and performance required for stunning 3D gaming. Features like perspective correction, texture filtering, mip-mapping, Gouraud shading, Z-buffering and alpha-blending immerse game players in a highly realistic 3D world. In addition,...

Realistic?... xD

Well, maybe with a GTX295 Q-Sli I would run that kind of games at 2FPS @ 320*240.. xD

Now, being serious, We can xD over this card, at its time was wonderful, now... sux..

Hey!Is this card really antique.I wonder how much money would I get for this card.

Had to start somewhere, this card should be appreciated for what it is. If it wasn't for this relic, the GPU industry would not be what it is today and we wouldn't be salivating over the HD 5870 in Sept. 2009!
